Edwin Thiele, last Friday afternoon during a Valley Mills Lorena football game, collapsed after complaining of faintness and died later at Central Texas Baptist Sanitarium Waco. An active church member, he attended Sunday School regularly and was part of Luther League and Bible Close at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church near Clifton.
The Meta Meta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, national honorary teachers, held its first meeting at the Profit Inn on Saturday September 29 with a luncheon. The program featured welcome songs and remarks by notable members as attendees discussed chapter activities and future events.
