The Sunday School of the Baptist Church will present a missionary program on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. A missionary address by the pastor will follow. Evening preaching at 7:30. All are invited. J. A. Kidd, pastor.

Clifton Ice and Cold Storage Co offers a limited stock salt sale. Two Ford Touring cars, 1916 and 1917 models, available at a bargain in a described condition. Wallace Rea’s reference noted. Oscar Brantley, now Milford resident, visited yesterday with relatives and friends.
Proceedings in District Court show verdicts and pleas in several cases. Bud McKinley was acquitted of horse theft. H L Cobb pleaded guilty to theft with a two year suspended sentence. Essie Alley and Tenonia Young pleaded guilty to burglary with two year suspended sentences. Ed Holloway pleaded guilty to attempted murder with two years in penitentiary. Buford Briscoe stood trial for attempted rape. Jury commissioners and Meridian visitors noted. local notes mention Spanish flu and community visits.
