Dr Tomas L Gillespie a longtime Clifton dentist and civic figure died at Dolin Seely Hospital Galveston soon after initial brain and stroke problems. He was born Mississippi in 1847, studied at Vanderbilt, practiced in Mississippi then Clifton, married Miss Beth Helm in 1907, and left two children Elizabeth and a stillborn or deceased sister. His brother Rogers P Gillespie accompanied him home.
