Local Personal Notes From Clifton Area Families
The column lists visits and moves among Clifton area residents including Gunn at his daughter’s home, the Spare family in Waco, the Hthale hoger residence at 714 South Avenue, and many relatives such as Monroe and Sadie, with travels to Austin and Baytown. It mentions the Land Migs, Helene Olven, and Mrs Cowelds daughter, plus health checks for Mr Ohike and various social visits. The cattle auction prices at a local sale average 277 with a highest heifer price of 680, and club officers for a banquet are named, with a note that Polled Hereford show winners will be covered next week. Dallas residents visited Clifton to see family, and prospects for a rodeo are noted along with church notices at St Pauls Lutheran Church.
