Pioneer Passes in Clifton Area After Long Illness
Obituary notices the death of George Cawald Oswald, a long time farmer and resident of Clifton, Kentucky born December 1 1863 near Louisville. He moved from Waco to Bougan County and then Oak Hill Farm, practiced farming, joined the Methodist Church, and later united with the Clifton Baptist Church. Survived by a wife and daughter Angie, several grandchildren, and many relatives. Services held near Clifton on September 27 with local ministers leading.
