The Clifton College Cats opened the 1987 season with a 0–0 draw at Decatur against the Decatur Indians. Coach M Rogstad used a conservative lineup with seven players playing the full game and no substitutions. Next Friday they host Texan Military College at 8 PM on Col one Field to test future potential and team depth.
