Thomas Payne Westbrook, 21, accidentally shot himself while cleaning a pistol. The bullet pierced a finger bone, hit an adding machine, shattered a showcase, and glanced into a Sunday School class, prompting a later note on services and a Thanksgiving meeting at 1030.

Rush Springs Oklahoma November 13 one city marshal James Lee 50 is dead and Grady County deputy Dan Williamson 69 wounded in a duel on the main street outside a tent show. Lee died within an hour from a bullet through the shoulder and near a lung while Williamson was shot in the thigh and expected to recover. Both men claimed a share of a reward for recovering a stolen car that had been distributed by Lee. Survived by a widow and four children Williamson married.
Georgetown Texas Nov 9 An alarming lash from the eighteen months death era shows in Williamson County Granger reports echo across the county.
