Henry W Ludwig died suddenly November 11 at his home on Trice Street in Waco within an hour of onset. He was 54, survived by his wife Mary and daughter Betty Gail, with parents Mr and Mrs Charlie Ludwig of Clifton and several siblings. He was a cabinet maker by trade and active in Trinity Methodist Church, where he served as steward and building inspector for the new church.

Military rites occurred at the graveside with pallbearers from Connally Air Force Base. He was a disabled war veteran who spent time in Veteran Hospitals. Survived by his wife Edgine Barker of Clifton and his father Cal Barker of Hiro, plus a stepdaughter, three sisters, and one brother.
