Batulkey to Fort Worth Bride of Private Charles McKinsien
The ceremony took place Saturday night at Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Worth where Betty Jean Edbury played the nuptial organ prelude for the wedding of Batulkey to Private Charles David McKinsien. The bride wore white chant lace over satin with a pearl trimmed veil and carried a white Bible with an orchid, as her bridesmaids wore matching gowns and accessories. The groom’s party included Carroll Brown as best man and Bill Ansley and James Harwell as groomsmen in navy suits. Relatives from Clifton attended, and the event followed a 7:00 p.m. ceremony with the Lord’s Prayer sung after the vows. The Poppy Sale fundraiser netted $110 for the American Legion Auxiliary.
