Blind Man Struck by Car in Waco Leaves 18-Year-Old Dying
In Waco Texas on a Friday night an 18 year old blind man Joe Truss was struck while crossing near his home four blocks from where his daughter Annie Troe was killed a year earlier. He suffered a fractured skull and was reported dying Sunday. The driver was a Hillsboro man and police called the accident unavoidable.

Pioneer Reena Rogers Dies in Walnut Springs
Mrs Reena Rogers longtime resident and beloved pioneer passed away Tuesday at 1 30 pm and was buried Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery Jamid. She was 81, daughter of T N Savage and longtime Savage home resident. Out of town mourners included Mrs Joe Kirby Mrs Henry Carter and Mrs B C Clark of Wace. Pallbearers were Jim Hates Dave and Joe Montgomery Jim Reed Bud Wilbanks and Dave Poole. A life history will run next week in the Hustler Walnut Springs Hustler.
