Ireland town opening to debut with large sale auctioned lots
Ireland on the Cotton Belt between Hamilton and Gatesville tracks new town growth. A large depot hotel and lumber yard already exist, with several cottages and two railroad section houses. The townsite company will donate ground for a modern school and church buildings as Ireland opens Thursday with a big townlot auction led by Col. Rufus J Lackland.
