The Rev N J Christensen of Georgetown Texas will speak in Clifton Friday at 7 80 pm. He and his wife will broadcast Sunday programs on KTEM Temple and lead Armistice and gospel services with choir from various denominations assisting.
County officials announce an acreage allotment for the region under the 1947 program. Chairman Will C. Pellmeyer states the WRBOm figure provides a 15 percent share for the county, totaling 418 acres to be allocated across parcels and rounds.

Roscoe Howard aged 38 died Sunday following an automobile crash Friday night after returning from a football game at Hempstead. He is survived by his parents Mr and Mrs WP Howard of Cleburne and one sister of Tulsa. Burial was in Chebuene. The car was demolished about one mile west on the Birngoe River bridges.
Bosque County farmers show higher wheat planted acreage leading to an increase in the county wheat factor from 15 to 57 percent. The boost applies to farms with three to five years of wheat planting in the base period and only where wheat was planted in those years. Farms with one or two years of wheat planting see no increase.
New Orleans October 26 employers urged to organize on an industry wide collective chain to counter strikes. Leaders including Aimon E. Roth and Ban Prendhoo of the Pacific Countt Water front called for solidarity and the revival of the phrase fire with fire to support a unified labor response.
