Clifton Volunteer Fire Department Receives $11500 Grant

Fireman's Fund Insurance directs an $11500 grant to Clifton Volunteer Fire Department to fund 10 turnout gear sets and handheld flashlights. The gear meets NFPA standards, boosting safety as CVFD demonstrates equipment on Oct 20 with Fire officials. Larry Thiele nominated Clifton for the program funded nationwide since 2004.

Clifton Lions Pancake Supper draws volunteers and history

Clifton Lions Club hosts its bi annual Pancake Supper at the Clifton Civic Center on Tuesday November 23 from 5 to 7 pm. Patricia Ferguson a longtime club member and former president helps flip pancakes and praises the event as a favorite fundraiser that supports local and international service projects. Tickets are $6 for adults with free meals for children under six. takeout also offered.
