Farm Bureau Names Directors Officers for Two Years
Bosque County Farm Bureau met at Valley Mills High School Cafeteria on Tuesday night October 23. W B Oswald presided as officers were named including president and vice presidents. Directors elected were Henry Sonntag Clyde Henry Adolph Schulze R G Griffin Earl Morrison and Raymond Lammert. Mrs Griffin was elected Ladies Auxiliary president. Wreck near here takes one life
George D. Leeth Sr 66 of Hamilton died at the local hospital after a head on collision on Highway 22 near Clifton. His wife 65 remains in critical condition with multiple fractures and severe injuries. In the other car Lt Edward Lowe 23 of James Connally AFB and Miss Marcia Lee White 18 Baylor student were involved. White underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen but was removed from the critical list by Wednesday. Funeral services were held in Hamilton for Leeth with interment at Hamilton Cemetery.
