A Memorial Meeting and patriotic rally was held at City Hall sponsored by Selmer Erickson Post 40 American Legion. World War veterans and families attended an open-air concert by Clifton High School under Curtis Pederson, followed by a formal program led by Post Commander Jack P. Garber. Rev. John Newton opened with prayer as Helen Aas of the City Council offered greetings.
