Itasca Hill County Texas May 12 bonds sold for 35000 for a brick school building with funds in local banks. Contractor Mr Waller and the engineer begin work. City Hall and fire station costing 38000 just completed and a 4000 brick livery stable to be completed in ten days.

The State of Texas issues a four week newspaper citation in Bosque County to summon J E Wyatt to appear before the Justice Court in Clifton on April 28, 1911. Wm Connolly & Co sue on open account from 1909 with goods and a May 1909 promissory note for 85 50, with 10 percent interest and 10 percent liquidated damages plus attorney fees.
In Clifton on April 25 1911 Justice of the Peace J K McSpadden issues a writ directing service and return showing how the writ was executed. Plaintiffs claim payment demanded and refused and seek principal interest liquidated damages attorneys fees and costs plus general and special relief.
Claims that ghosts avoid swamps and malaria myths are debunked as dangerous superstition.
