Mothers Banquet Honors Clifton High School Seniors
Tuesday night the Clifton High School seniors gathered at City Hall dining room for an all new banquet hosted by the mothers. Rex Callwick and Gern Johnson toasted the class while Curt Pederson played saxophone and Miss Gertrude Haskew gave a recitation. The seniors wore gowns and suits as teachers and the class president spoke, and each senior thanked the mothers for a fine dinner featuring pineapple cocktail, froven Pratt salad, chicken is king, English Dené Partley potatoes.

The Farm Security Administration loaned $898,844 in April to 2,485 low income Texas farmers as the state nears exhausting its seven million dollar loan fund for the year ending June 40. James A.
