Mrs W E Mitchell formerly Ruby Mac Carr died Thursday at age 25 near Clifton. Born Oct 1 1897 she was daughter of Mr and Mrs C W Carr. Funeral services were held at the Apter church with burial in Fairview. Survived by husband four brothers and several nieces and nephews attended.

Wilbur Preston Sparks Dies in West Norse Community
Funeral services for Wilbur Preston Sparks son of Mr and Mrs J A nn were held Thursday May 9 at 2 o clock at the Sparks home with Rev Walter T Gigatad officiating. Burial was in Norse Cemetery. Sparks died Wednesday from a self inflicted gun wound at age eight teen. He is survived by four brothers Jones Roscoe Merrell and Owen and three sisters Gerude Mrs Radgar Pinatad and Mrs J Arphie Harley. Another brother Burton died December 20 in an automobile accident.
