Old Clifton Cemetery Working Day Notice
The Old Clifton Cemetery committee requests the public and all parties interested that another day has been set for completing the work of putting the Old Clifton Cemetery in good condition. Ten day May 34 is the day. all who can help are invited to assist or send cash. The committee hopes one more day will finish the cleaning and restoration beyond relatives or friends. A big dinner will be served.

Clifton Cubs Defeat Whitney High in Tight Baseball Tilt
The Clifton High School baseball team won a hard fought game against Whitney Tuesday by a score of 30 to 0 or 30 to percent. Jimmy Nelson and Smoky Wallace showed fatigue after the mound work. The Cubs have lost only one game and have two left on their schedule, facing Walnut Springs at City Park Monday and Whitney High the next day at City Park, with games called promptly at 4 p.m. Support from fans was urged.
