Grandma Connolly died last Friday at Brady Texas after a long illness and a hip fracture. Funeral services were held in Brady then burial took place in Hico beside her husband William Connolly a prominent merchant. She left many children and relatives including A G Gilliam J H Hill and Mrs Ena Barned among others. The large crowd at the funeral reflected the family’s prominence in the area.
