Mr Bill Ryan attended Federal Court at Waco. Miss Dessie Raines of Meridian spent the weekend with her sister Mrs Bryan Richards. P T A met Friday night with poor attendance. delegates looted to go to the annual district meeting at Clifton. A fine program by P T A and art pupils, Prof Wilson of Fairview school, welcomed visitors and spoke on school improvement. A Landgrat went to Dallas. Bevers and Gayote Home Demonstration Club members attended County Council at Clifton. Club met Thursday afternoon. Mins Gaines, Home Demonstration Agent, gave dieting talk. Mr and Mrs Bill Bryan and sons Roy and Darwin have been ill. they are improving. J C Smith of Whitney visited at the home of J H Davis and family.

Meridian Man H L Little Dies At Home At 58
H L Little fifty eight died at his Meridian home last Monday afternoon after an illness of heart leakage. He lived much of his life in Bosque County serving as sheriff and holding other offices. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 pm at the Meridian Baptist Church with Rev E H Owen and former Clifton pastors officiating. Interment followed in Meridian Cemetery. The Record extends sympathy to his wife and three daughters.
