They stayed with Ernest and Mrs Giese and noted Bosque County snow sightings on their journey home through West Texas and New Mexico. Ollie Daniel of Vernon also visited Vernon from Saturday to Monday with Alfred Huse, Mrs Daniel being Huse's sister.
