Basque Arts Center to Host July 4 Celebration
The Civic Music Association will present Red White and Proud at the Basque Arts Center on Monday July 4 starting at noon. The program features a variety show with a mini carnival exhibits dunking booth jump house face painting and more plus a 2 pm vanity show with Thomas Jefferson impersonator Fielden Wale Lewis TJ Fowler and rising musicians. A Saturday fund-raiser at Womack Hall Clifton features the 12 annual Hermann Sons Fish Fry to aid the AVPD. The event begins at 6 p.m. with matching funds from Grand Lodge Sons of Hermann. Tickets are a $10 suggested donation, with preschoolers free, and proceeds support local firefighters and community programs.
