Statewide ballot on homes for the homeless aid amendment proposed
Governor Stebb cut plans to place a constitutional amendment on the July ballot to allow state aid for citizens on farms to improve and acquire homes saying he will ask the State Democratic Executive Committee at the June 14 meeting to back the measure. The move seeks a broader home ownership program for rural and urban citizens. The text also includes an unrelated line urging use of a blue bug killer for poultry.
