Prisoner Sent Back to Waco from County Detention
Waco Texas June 4 Otho Black man under indictment in five auto theft cases was returned to Waco Saturday from Meridian county where he faces robbery with firearms charges. Deputy Sheriff Stanfield reports Blackmon had been in the county jail about three weeks after evading Valley Mille authorities. The McLennan county grand jury Friday afternoon returned indictments charging five auto theft offenses.

Farmers Short Course Expenses Reduced At A and M College
Expenses for meals and lodging for the five day Farmers Short Course at A and M College July 24 will be only $5.00 per person this year, the lowest ever. A camp ground will be available for those who wish to camp out. Wood water and lights will be furnished free.
