Vacation Bible Schools To Start In Local Churches
Several churches announce vacation Bible schools starting Monday morning. Trinity Lutheran plans a three week course at Clifton Junior College with dual morning sessions taught by Mrs Lawrence Ringnow and Miss Marllyn Onle wick. The Baptist Church will hold a parade and kickoff at 9 30 a m with activities through Friday. Children aged 4 to 14 are welcome at all programs and may attend at any church option.

Clifton Guard Unit To Attend Camp Hood Training
Clifton unit of the Heavy Mortar Co 143 and the 36th Infantry Division prepare to travel to Camp Hood for summer training. Forty two enlisted men and two officers will march from the Clifton armory, practice bivouac and field maneuvers, with Lt. Wade Knudson commanding. Governor Seater to review the 36th Division on June 11 at a parade. Training involves 10,600 soldiers from 215 units, with costs projected at about one million dollars.
