Weal Nelson Pioneer Citizen Passes Away
Weal Nelson eighty seven years old died after years of illness. Born in Stange Norway in 1857 he emigrated with his family to the United States settling near Waco then Clifton Texas where he became a trusted merchant and longtime resident. He married in 1891 to Minnie Heewigs Staclich and left behind a wife three children a son John and other relatives. He was baptized and confirmed and spent decades in the Clifton community before his health failed in recent months.
