Cow With Rabies Bites Man On Band In Sherman Texas
A cow on P J Francia’s farm in Grayson County developed rabies and died after attacking a man and others in a pasture. Dr J C Wilson and Francis attempted to intervene as the cow rushed them, injuring Francis before they retreated to safety. WT Prather Dies At Ranch Home In Clifton Area
WT Prather, a prominent Clifton citizen, died last Friday morning at his ranch east of Citten after illness and a stroke. Funeral services were held at 10 am the next day from the family home and were conducted at the Smith Meadow Cemetery by Rev M Walker, pastor of Clifton Methodist Church. A large gathering of friends attended, many from Clifton, as the community expressed sympathy.
