Bosque County Fairgrounds plans voter funded upgrades

The Central Texas Youth Fair seeks funds and volunteers to renovate restrooms add a new concrete slab and expand the facilities at the fairgrounds in Clifton. Projects include remodeling the old restroom building converting the arena area to a dressing space gutting plumbing replacing sinks securing mud control and converting the old office into a storage unit. Bevels said about 30 000 is needed with 70 members already, and warned contracting could triple costs and delay completion. The fair began in 1931 and serves youths across the region with shows and educational activities.
