Meridian's Big Day Attracts 8000plus On Independence Day
Meridian hosted a large July 4 celebration tied to National Independence Day and the 52nd anniversary of Bosque County's organization. The event drew crowds from nearby counties to the Fair Oak Hereford farm. A Meridian Clifton baseball game ended in a shutout for both sides, with Meridian scoring the lone run.
