Mie C. Ellington of Graneville Gap dies after long illness at home, age 78. Funeral services held at 10 a.m. at home by Rev J W Culwell of Grangeville Gap Methodist Church. Burial in Boggy Cemetery. Survived by 11 children, 7 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. among survivors are Mrs. Maitie Gaston Cranville Gap and several Ellington children living in Texas and Alabama. Ellington joined the church in youth, about 60 years ago, leaving a legacy of faith and family.
