Funeral for George J Hall Held at Cranfills Gap
George J Hall longtime local druggist and postmaster was laid to rest in Cranfills Gap cemetery after a large funeral. He was born Sept 1 1887 near town and leaves his wife Laura Green six children and extended family. The community mourns a civic and church leader.

Farmers and business leaders from McLennan Bosque Hill Coryell Hamilton Somervell Erath and Johnson counties convened at Clinton City Hall to back U S Department of Agriculture efforts and push for House Bill 253 and Senate Bill 128 to eradicate predatory animals. Four representatives were chosen to press the legislature as leaders discussed federal aid to protect sheep and goat industries amid losses of about 150000 dollars annually.
