Krueger presided in the president’s absence. the group planned a Memorial Quilt for Mrs. A. B. Gobike and discussed sending worn garments to Russian refugees in Manitoba.
The choo play Bonds on a String will be given Friday evening at 1:30. Admission costs 15 and 25 cents. A would-be detective and a colored maid provide comedy. The PTA A postponed the meeting last Friday due to bad weather. Examinations are ongoing this week and report cards will be issued next week.
J L Walker Chaplain at Central Texan Baptist Sanitarium writes to Mrs Waldrop and Clifton readers. He reports diverse denominations are cared for and a large number of patients receive mail from Clifton. He thanks pastors and expresses blessings and hopeful wishes for all readers.
Owen Hugh McFadden aged eight from Clifton area died January 11 1990 after a birth October 9 1925. Funeral services were held from the family home and burial followed in Clifton Cemetery with Rev Frank Nixon of the First Baptist Church in charge. The record extends condolences to the bereaved family.

The Cameravilly Girl Club elected officers January 14 including President Holme, Secretary Christine Conrad, and Yoral leader Men Lee Conrad. Members outlined garden and poultry activities and adjourned to meet January 1000.
