Clifton High Class of 1959 Holds 10th Anniversary Reunion
The Clifton High School Class of 1959 marked its 10th anniversary with a December 27, 1969, reunion at the American Legion Hall in Clifton. Attendees registered, mingled, and enjoyed a catered dinner with decorations in green and white, a roll-call update on members' activities, and a reading of a senior prophecy.

Brother Sister Meet In Taiwan December 22
Mr and Mrs L C Holloway of Clifton report their son Tech Sergeant Jim Holloway USAF and Zerlene H Rook met in Taichung Taiwan on December 22. They enjoyed dinner and planned another meeting soon. Rook returned to Korea the next day while Holloway looks forward to retirement to join wife and son Steve in Nebraska.

Chris Brynie 67 Dies in Clifton Hospital
Chris Brynie, 67, of Clifton died Sunday, January 4 in the local hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton conducted by Rev. Erwin Knitt. Burial was in Clifton Cemetery.

Mrs. Maude Lovelady Dies At 83 In Clifton
Mrs. Maude Lovelady, 83, of Clifton died Monday afternoon at the local hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church in Clifton, conducted by Rev. J. James and Rev. Clay Burns.
