Fragmented 19th century discussion on race, banks, and rural delivery
A garbled column blends notes on negro sympathizers, banking habits, and racial ideas with a government warning about maintaining roads for rural free delivery. It references a storyteller, a Yankee traveler, and officials pressuring carriers to report road conditions, noting potential service withdrawals if routes are not kept. The text also touches on local duties and a medical notice from Drs Davin and Suiath in Cent City.
