Local notes and oblique notices from Clifton area
A collage of brief local items from Clifton and Norse communities recounts visits and deaths in Waco and nearby towns, a Temple Candy Company hire, and a Texas girl Louise Lawson who sought music in New York then faced a tragic end. The column blends reminiscence with moral reflections and ad hoc observations.
