Death of Clifton salesman Georg Billert at age 64

George Anton Carl Billert died of probable moral causes at about five o’clock Thursday afternoon while at work in the Clifton Mercantile Company grocery department. He was born December 16 and had lived in Clifton most of his life. Funeral services were held at the Scandinavian Lutheran Church with burial in the local cemetery. He was survived by his wife Annie Canuteson Billert and several children and grandchildren.
