Statewide Feeder Breeder Movement Organized in Texas

The Tesna Feader-Broeder Association was organized September 7, 940 to promote a new cattle feeding movement and reduce cotton acreage while producing high quality beef. Key founders include Arthur Milon of Mor, G. I. Lay of Walnut Spring, Kendron of Norse, and others feeding beef calves for market. Frank Milew, a director, notes calves gain about 1 pound daily with home grown feed, and his calves will be shown at the Fat Stock Show in March.
