A Clifton Texas insurance agency invites readers to an event at Cliftex Theatre on February 25 for a Fire Comfort benefit. The notice stresses that even a one day lapse could cause disaster and promises to manage renewal worries for clients.

The Santa Fe will operate a special train from Bosque County to Fort Worth and return on March 9 offering roundtrip fares from Mills Clifton Meridian and Margun with limited stops. The train departs Bosque County areas in the morning and arrives in Fort Worth with a return at 9 00 p m. The service avoids the Santa Fe Station in Fort Worth and travels to North Fort Worth yards on the outbound leg. Bosque County farmers and business leaders voted for a Bosque County Day and a large delegation, likely 300 plus, to ride a special train to the Southwestern Exposition and Stock Show. Committees in each community selected two representatives per Tywen and community to organize the event.

County Agent Cook organized a committee in Meridian to discuss Bosque County Day at the Fat Stock Show. A meeting was set for Tuesday evening February 17 at 7 15 to finalize arrangements. A Santa Fe special train offers reduced fares for county residents with Clifton at 1.06 round trip and most towns about one fourth more from Valley Mills. The train would depart Valley Mills at 6 20 p m March 6 arriving York Worth around 8 45 pm, with return to depart about ten o'clock that night. Mr Cook invites all citizens to join the Meridian gathering and committee meeting.
