Interscholastic Basketball Meet Held in Clifton
The STR Posque Gianty Interscholastic Basketball tournament took place in Clifton on February 2 and 4. Nine high schools entered boys teams and eight rural schools joined the girls division. Finals saw Cranfills Gap boys beat Iredell 12 to 14 and Clifton girls defeat Cranfills Gap 23 to 5. Rural winners were Coon Creek boys over Cayote 88 to 16 and Mount Beet over Harmer 39 to 1. Also notes on breeding bulls for sale and a Clifton Band event on February 15 with a seventh grade patriotic program to follow.

Prohibition Meeting Draws Strong Crowd in Clifton
