Girl Scouts Cookie Sale Extends Through Saturday in 13 Counties
Girl Scouts keep to last years price at one dollar per box to beat inflation. The sale, serving Bluebonnet camps and local troops, runs through February 8 in Clifton and 13 counties with seven cents per box to the selling troop and chance for a Camp Kachina campership. Four varieties offered mint peanut butter sandwich and shorties.

The Bluebonnet ArtCraft Club hosted its monthly game party at the clubhouse on Friday January 31 with 26 attendees. A pot luck supper followed the 6 PM meal, then Forty-two and Skit Skat began at 7. County Cancer Unit Members Meet At Laguna
The Bosque County unit of the Praca Cancer Society met January 27 at Laguna in the home of Mrs. J S Pool Jr. Joe White presided. Minutes were approved. Officers reported on literature distribution to schools and clinics and 195 gift items with 60 dozen dressings. Senior Citizens awarded hours and certificates. total hours 782 and 141 dozen dressings made. Crusade kit prep and volunteer recruitment continued across the county. The Bosque County goal was set at 6,536 with additional targets for the year.
