Me Thrond Larson died at his Clifton home after an illness of about a week. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton and at the home. Larson, born in Norway May 2 1806, emigrated to America in 1805 and settled near Norse Texas. He married Mathilda Lereen April 2 1807 and had twelve children, several surviving. He moved to Clifton in 1942 after farming and long service in local farms. He is survived by his wife, children Louis Edmund Justin Winnie, Clarence Erickson, Mina Westerny, and Tom. one sister Pauline Laimpeth and 12 grandchildren.
