Ralph O Bass Dies After Long Illness

TEX LA EMPLOYEES HOLD MEETING IN CLIFTON

Employers from sixteen to one in the Central Division of the Texas Louisiana Power Company met in Clifton on Saturday December 16 for their regular quarterly division gathering. To boost holiday spirit a Christmas tree was enjoyed before business. Each person brought a gift, and many gifts were exchanged. Talks covered how to improve job performance and handle common complaints. The event included a turkey dinner and group discussions.

Bosque County Interscholastic League Meet Set for Clifton

The executive committee met in Meridian or Meridan area on December 18 1984 to plan the Interscholastic League events. W A York resigned as director general and O B Pierson of Clifton was recommended to succeed him. A meet date was set for Clifton with several new officials appointed and rules adopted for vocal harmony and extracurricular events.

The college chorus made its season debut Sunday evening December 2 at the college auditorium in Valley Mills Texas. The ensemble sang in the Methodist Church in the valley and drew a full house with performances of concerts by Gabriel.
