Special to the Record reports Dr. Donald T. Forman of Northwestern finds Bosque County averages contain about $5.60 in chemicals per person, up from $3.51 in 1969 and 98 cents in 1936. The county’s total body chemical value would be around $62,000, with body composition listed as oxygen 65 percent, carbon 18 percent, hydrogen 10 percent, nitrogen 3 percent, calcium and other elements 14 percent, plus trace gold and silver. Charles Allen Thomas later notes enzymes and nucleic acids in the body could be worth over $800.
