Convention for ASC committee delegates selected Frank D Bearden a cotton farmer from Coyote community as regular member. Williams of Meridian and Cortez ApSmith of Valley Mills named first and second alternates to the Bosque County ASC committee. Bearden and Williams will serve three year terms with Smith as vice chairman. Community committees handle local administration of farm programs including Soil Conservation and Wheat and Cotton programs.
Presbyterian Women of the Church met December 8 at the A N Randle home for a luncheon. Rev Horak opened with prayer as 19 members heard Hosea 1 5 and discussed Joy Gift offerings, Christmas caroling with Youth Fellowship, and a cash gift to Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home.
