Wyatt McFadden aged 86 died at Port Arthur on Monday night December 10. Born in McLennan County September 18 1858 he was the oldest of fourteen children. He lived most of his life in Bosque County Clifton and Meridian before moving to Port Arthur about twenty years ago. He served as a county officer in Bosque County and was widely known as a strong, retired man who faced illness after an accident years earlier. Interment was in Meridian after funeral services December 4 at the local Baptist Church conducted by Rev P De Young of Clifton and the Meridian pastor.
A local notice lists numerous Bosque County men returning to civilian life after military service, detailing names such as John W. Swenson Alfred Wesvinger W. Louis Ludwig Alton Judah Albert Hennig George Davis and many others from towns including Meridia Archie Jackson and Crawford.

The ceremony was at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev Gigstad officiating. The couple plans a home in Clifton as Bronstad studies at North Texas State Teachers College Denton.
