Knudson Dies Here Dec 4 at Clifton Texas
A prominent Bosque County farmer and Clifton resident E Knudson, 70, died at his home December 4 after a long illness. He was married to Minnie Martinson and had six children. Knudson was active in local Lutheran and community affairs and farmed near Meridian and Spring Creek before moving to Clifton in 1943.

Death of J A Weight Near Clifton After Heart Attack
J A Weight, who recently moved to a farm in the Boggy community near Clifton, died of a heart attack while unloading feed at the Valley Mills feed mill at about 1 18 o clock Tuesday. He and Mrs Weight had bought the Pendle farm in the Boggy area about a year ago and had lived there only three months. His body was taken to Dallas for funeral services, with details still unsettled at press time.

Pederson Dies in Georgia After Decades in Clifton Family Ties
P C Pederson died at the home of his daughter Mrs A Oliver in Thomaston Georgia on December 8 19052. He was born March 1 1872 in Harmony west of Clifton and married Margaret Anderton in 1894. The couple lived in West Texas Motley County Matador Sayre and maintained strong family ties with Clifton through visits and community involvement. He left five children two sons and three daughters and celebrated a Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1948. He had remained active in local affairs until his death pursuing church services and visiting relatives.

Bloodmobile Returns To Bosque County In March
At a Bosque County blood bank meeting the next stop for the bloodmobile was set for March 4 in Clifton with a preceding day stop in Meridian. Residents of Crawhills Gap and nearby areas were urged to donate and a school bus may be used to transport volunteers to Clifton. The unit began with a first stop at Valley Mills on December 11 and county hospitals have already benefited from local donations.
