On Friday evening November 28 Mine Ida May hosted a birthday party at parente Mr and Mrs Koy May. The event featured relatives visiting, games, and a plentiful repast including cake cookies and soca. Guests included Mrs Rey May Miss Ide May Anna May Ide Law Now Nelliy New Joule Falcon and Gwendel Northam.
The Clifton high school Cubs plan two basketball games against Marlin next Tuesday with the B squad at 7 o clock and the A team following. Officials note this may be the Cubs best team in years and expect strong play as they begin conference play after Christmas.

Mrs Ole J Hoel dies Monday morning after a long illness. Born in the No community on December 26 1882 she was a Lutheran and longtime resident with spouse Ole J Hoel since 1903. Survived by Calvert H Beant Swanell and Ole John Jr plus three siblings and many relatives. Funeral services held at home and Norse Lutheran Church with burial in Norse cemetery. Vivid floral tributes and scripture readings marked the service.
The Clifton Cubs plan their annual football mothers banquet on a December night. Mothers will host and serve a meal at the football stadium while the team is thanked for hard practice and effort. A guest speaker from Baylor may attend to praise the players.
