Martin Larson of Cranfills Gap dies at 90 on November 24 after a long Bosque County life. Born in Tonseth Norway August 51 1883 to Lars and Olara Halvorson he immigrated to America in 1872 and farmed in Boggy and Hamilton County before settling in Cranfills Gap. He married Helene Foss January 1878 and fathered ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services were held November 24 at the Larson line and St Olaf Lutheran Church with interment in St Olaf Cemetery.

She lived mostly in Bosque County and married Edward Lane Alfel January 8 18-somethings. Five children were born to the union including C Le Alfel now in Baltimore Md. in military service.
Clifton Junior College hosts a free Christmas pageant in the auditorium at 8:00 p m on December 10. The event uses Life Up Your Voices and invites all Clifton churches and environs to attend in the spirit of the season.
