Mrs. L. L. Duke Funeral Services Held in Clifton
Funeral services for Mrs. L. L. (Jimmie B.) Duke 85 of Waco were held at Clifton Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lawless officiating. She died of a heart attack July 21 1967 after a long illness and is survived by two sons a daughter five grandchildren and several relatives. Clifton Funeral Home oversaw arrangements.

Funeral services for 76 year old Mrs. A J Wolf were held August 17 at Adams Funeral Chapel Marlin with Rev W G Fuller and Rev Clement Gordon officiating. Burial followed in Riesel Cemetery. She died August 16 1967 in Park Plaza Nursing Home Mart. Survived by husband A J Wolf four sons Leonard Louie Lonnie and J T Wolf four daughters Eva Wallace Onie Johnson Juanita Owens two brothers Jace and Andrew Caddell four sisters Inez Bregant Pearlie Duvall Audrey Henderson Reba Henderson 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Clay Felkner August Beka B Federwich Robert Shaw Freddie Pundt Jr and Cecil Shaw.

Allen Chaney Receives Combat Leader Training in Vietnam
Sp 4 Allen D. Chaney of Clifton is assigned to a 9 day Combat Leadership Course at the NCO Academy Cu Chi Vietnam. A 25th Infantry Division soldier in Vietnam since December 1966 he is due to rotate home this December. He studied weapons map reading artillery and squad tactics during the course. Chaney graduated Clifton High School in 1965.
